Alicia RogersLikes: Sidecar coffee, traveling and planning future trips with my family, trying new things, and watching people grow and become more confident in their abilities.
Dislikes: Greed and entitlement, days without coffee, when I’m running late, and karaoke. After teaching in the Cedar Valley for seven years, Alicia changed her career path to work in non-profit for Goodwill Industries of Northeast Iowa, Inc. Alicia works as the Director of Training and Development to create and implement learning opportunities for employees and help them overcome barriers so they can reach their full potential. She has a bachelor’s degree in early childhood and elementary education from the University of Northern Iowa and a master’s degree in education from Morningside University. In addition to volunteering on the board for Cedar Valley Angels, Alicia is also a Dare to Dream Mentor for Cedar Valley Angels.
