Andrea is a two time graduate from UNI (BA in Business Administration + MBA). A job transfer took her and her husband, Brad, to Virginia for nearly 9 years. While building a 20+ year career in the corporate world, Andrea has volunteered for the Alzheimer's Association, created an infertility support group, was a Human Rights Commissioner, and served three years as president of the Band Boosters at West High School. She knew she wanted to make a change to have more impact in the non-profit world and CVA is the perfect intersection of her passions, experiences and skills. Additionally, she now teaches 11 week trauma informed foster parent classes through Four Oaks. Andrea and Brad fostered six kiddos in the nine years they were licensed. They eventually went through two adoptions of four kiddos, aged 1-7 and those littles are now two teenagers and two adults! When not working, you'll find Andrea indulging in all her favorite things and pondering how she will get Dave Grohl to let her work on a Foo Fighters tour. |
