Likes: reading, design + photography, art museums, pasta, listening to music, tattoos, thrifting, and spending time with family and friends.
Dislikes: really hot weather, really cold weather, inequality, and discrimination.

Tyler is a self proclaimed book nerd with a huge passion for being creative. She is originally from Ames, Iowa and landed in the Cedar Valley after starting at UNI. She is always interested in art, design, and all things creative and making sure everyone has access to that creativity – because of this, her ultimate dream job is to open and run a community art gallery similar to the one she would visit growing up.

​In addition to providing access to the arts, Tyler is also really passionate about using her creative skills and abilities to help other people, and has used this as her foundational goal in and out of her career.

Outside of her professional life she is most often seen reading a book or resembling a hermit crab at home with her kindle. She also really enjoys finding different restaurants, and new experiences while exploring fun places.
